Our microwaveable containers are either made from one of the following two plastics:
Polypropylene (PP) - A very common choice for various types of food containers, due to their sturdy and microwaveable safe nature. Polypropylene containers have a high heat resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 126°C (260°F), making them ideal for microwave use.
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) - Widely used in food packaging, this is another plastic material that’s both generally food and microwave safe. However it’s not as commonly used in food packaging.
